Job Title: Software Deployment and Implementation Consultant

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Reachview Technologies’ proprietary software, ICE, products and components
  • Integration of Reachview Technologies’ ICE software with the customer's pre-existing Database Systems, Monitoring Systems, Ticketing Systems, Processes, and Applications.
  • Create tailor-made solutions by collecting, organizing, and displaying data from various sources using Reachview Technologies proprietary software.

Expectations:

  • You must have a strong technical background in programming
  • Ability to analyze and dissect various off the shelf products as well as custom customer applications
  • Professionalism with regards to appearance and both verbal and written communication
  • Strength in technical and non-technical communications skills, programmatic, and situational adaptability
  • You will be trained to become a Subject Matter Expert on Reachview Technologies’ ICE Application.
  • Responsibility will center around project development as opposed to product development with regards to the Reachview Technologies’ ICE Application.

REQUIRED Technical Skills:

  • Expert level SQL- Transact SQL preferred
  • Expert level Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
  • Strong experience with J#, C#, Perl.NET, or VB.NET- C# Preferred
  • Strong experience with SQL Server- SQL Server 2005 preferred
  • Strong experience with basic UNIX/LINUX command line operations
  • Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS)
  • Experience with a large variety of data types, structures, and uses from a database perspective
  • Experience with network protocols and requirements to move certain types of data across the network
  • Experience with Regular Expressions (RegEx)
  • Experience with HTML and web page design in general

REQUIRED Technical Proficiencies:

  • Must have extensive understanding and use of Programming/Coding principles and design standards
  • Must have experience in scripting in .net, or C#
  • Must be a Microsoft guru (server 2000, 2003, XP) – since this is the core OS of ICE.
  • Must have MS SQL Server experience -at min, version 2000, and it would be great if you have 2005 experience
  • Must be a process oriented person, has to know “if then else logic” and know it well.
  • Must have developed applications from nothing- i.e. the client says “We need X,” and we say, “Ok, I can develop this from the ground up.”
  • Some people are good at modifying a system, or taking a pre-existing system and changing it/updating it to do other things, but with ICE, most of the time, you are starting from scratch and it’s data that no one has had access to
  • Must have knowledge of Web Page design standards with the ability to create aesthetically appealing pages and intuitive page navigation
  • Must have the ability to assess impact of data collection against production environment based on data gathering frequency, size, and type
  • Must have knowledge of database systems and database theory

Full-time salaried position. Requires weekly travel from 50% to 75%, leaving Monday and returning Thursday/Friday.
