Job Title: Solution Architect

Job Purpose: The Solution Architect is responsible for providing innovative solutions that map to the clients service assurance requirements. The Solution Architect improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to Business Development to increase revenue for ReachView
  • Develop, plan, and implement the overall strategic goals of an organization's network system.
  • Improve business processes and supports critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems.
  • Formulate business systems architecture plans, estimates costs, and ensures projects meet strategic needs.
  • Document client requirements and provide written proposals or Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Provide job cost and pricing
  • Propose future service offerings
  • Become an industry “thought leader” for service assurance solutions
  • Understand ISV applications and roadmaps
  • Understand and explain “reference architecture” for delivery
  • Provide consulting services directly to clients for the following projects: deploying new projects, unsuccessful projects requiring completion, and projects requiring complete customized solutions
  • Define and Develop deployment “best practices” for professional services
  • Assist in the creation of internal training curriculum for professional services
  • Provide instruction to train internal resources for professional services
  • Work with end user groups to evaluate and solve technical problems.
  • Evaluate existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes.

REQUIRED Skills and Experience:

  • MINUMUM of 8 years IT/Telecommunications Industry experience
  • 5+ years focused on BSS/OSS/SA/NMS business
  • Experience with Key Responsibilities listed above
  • Career progression from Engineer (technical) to Consultant to Sr/Managing Consultant to Solution Architect
  • Deep understanding of Micromuse IBM Netcool components
  • Strong track record of professional success is necessary, preferably in the Consulting Services area.

PREFERRED Skills and Experience:

  • ITIL exposure
  • Pre-Sales exposure
  • Experience in a revenue generating position
  • College Degree
  • Exposure to multiple Service Assurance software packages like- Remedy, Voyance, eConcord, and/or Infovista
  • Experience on several full project life cycles

Full-time position. Requires weekly travel from 50% to 75%, leaving Monday and returning Thursday/Friday.
